Legal Center

The Face to Face Legal Center protects the human, civil and legal rights of low income and homeless individuals. Our Legal Center serves nearly 500 people each year.  It bridges the “justice gap” by offering free legal services to individuals who live below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. The center is staffed by volunteer attorneys and law students; it provides a full range of legal services from consumer to public benefits.  Our Legal Center helps countless people secure legal identification which is essential in today’s society.

Schedule During Renovation
*Please note that we are temporarily located at 6001 Germantown Ave. while the renovations are completed on our Price Street building.

Monday and Tuesday 10am-12pm

Certain Saturdays 10am-12pm*

Open Saturdays:
May 13th 20th, June 10th and 24th, July 8th and 22nd, and August 12th and 26th

The Legal Center will be closed on:
May 29th, July 3rd, 4th,10th, and 11th and August 14th and 15th

During the months of May, June, July and August there will be no designated birth certificate clinics.
If you would like to apply for a birth certificate please call 215-438-1390 to speak to the Legal Director to see if the clinic is able to help you.”
