Turkey Trot

November 28, 2024
5 mile race and 1 mile Fun Run

Nothing says Thanksgiving like Pumpkin Pie and the Face to Face Turkey Trot. Our largest fundraising event of the year is held every Thanksgiving morning, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Forbidden Drive located along the Wissahickon Creek. Our race is PA registered, professionally timed, and attended by more than 1,000 runners. Pre-registration begins in September, but same day registration is also available. If you plan to be out of town for the holiday, you can still participate with our virtual run option. If running isn’t for you then join us for our Fun Walk/Run. It is a great way to kick off your Thanksgiving day.

Oktoberfest

Pull on your lederhosen and come and enjoy local craft beers, authentic fare, and wonderful music as we turn our dining room at Face to Face into a German beer hall. What a great opportunity to bring a friend to Face to Face for some good old fashion fun. Prost!

Taste of Haiti Dinner

Let our resident Haitian Chef, Altenor Vavel, transport you from our dining room on Price Street, to Haiti with the exotics tastes of his homeland. For one evening, Altenor will prepare native dishes such as Conch Stew, Griot and specialty rices prepared with coconut milk and mushrooms. Of course, the menu would not be complete without a rich dessert and a specialty cocktail. The dinner is usually held in late summer, early fall at Face to Face, 123 East Price Street, Philadelphia, Pa
